Payment Options for Students and Parents (the web credit card payment system is turned off each Thursday night and the last day of the month for accounting purposes).

Payment Options

The following payment options are in effect at Appalachian.

1. Pay bill in full

-- By mail (check, money order, cashier's check)    -or-

-- At the Student Accounts Office

 

-- By computer (VISA and Mastercard only)

Please note that this credit card option is only available for payment of amounts billed by the Student Accounts Office.  Additions to meal cards and Express Accounts must be handled by calling Food Services at (828)262-6141

login to AppalNET; "Self Service" tab; "Student Services tab"; select "Student Accounts" link; select "Account Detail by Term" link; select a term in drop down box; the term detail will appear. To make a credit card payment, select the "Pay Now" button, the payment will be applied to the selected term; enter your credit card information and the amount you want to pay; enter your billing address and click "Submit Payment."

select the Parent Portal link above or from the Parents and Family page; on the parent login page, enter the student's 9 digit I.D. number and the 6 digit pin number provided by the student from the "Parent Access" page; select a term in the drop down box; the term detail will appear. To make a credit card payment, select the "Pay Now" button, the payment will be applied to the selected term; enter your credit card information and the amount you want to pay; enter your billing address and click "Submit Payment."

      

A Parent ( or designee) may pay by credit card through the Parent Portal. When the student has granted access and given the 6 digit pin number to the parent, a credit card payment may be made using the Parent Portal link above. The "Parent Access" instructions are at Parent Portal Access and FERPA

2. Enroll in the ASU Tuition Payment Plan

 Coming for the Fall Semester, 2008. Enrollment Information will be posted on the Student Accounts home page in April   

 

3. Apply for financial aid
